KJA Creative Director, David Crain, was selected as a “celebrity artist” for the 2008 Van Gogh Gala. This annual event, being held November 15, is hosted by River Oaks Square Arts Center. Each celebrity artist is assigned a “coach” to assist and direct in the creation of a piece of art. These pieces will be auctioned off the evening of the event. River Oaks' resident artist VeRetta Garrison-Moller is David’s coach and head cheerleader.  

The Van Gogh Gala, River Oaks' largest annual fund raiser, provides the perfect opportunity for community members and patrons to intermingle and build relationships while supporting the arts.

River Oaks provides economical studio space for working artists, educational programming for all ages, and hosts over twenty exhibits annually featuring regional, local and resident artists.
